Grace Lee Boggs to Speak in L.A. on Obama’s First 100 Days

Grace Lee Boggs is making a rare out-of-town appearance in Los Angeles for a panel discussion on the “First 100 Days of the Obama Administration” on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. This free event is presented by the Center For Diversity and Democracy and will take place at University Park Campus, Doheny Memorial Library, rm. 240, 3550 Trousdale Parkway, Los Angeles CA.

Grace will be joined on the panel by community activist Carmelo Alvarez and USC scholars Ange-Marie Hancock and Ricardo Ramirez.

The discussion will consider national and local changes during the first 100 days of the Obama administration.
